What we collect

Without an account: technical request data — an anonymous visitor marker used to apply the daily allowance — and job facts such as the tool, file size and processing time. File names and file contents never reach the logs.

With an account: your email address, a name if you gave one, and — when signing in with GitHub — the profile details GitHub provides: name, picture and verified address.

Passwords are stored only as an irreversible hash. So are API keys: we could not show you an existing key even if we wanted to.

Why

To run the service: perform the job, hand back the result, and tell visitors apart so the free allowance is shared fairly.

To give you your account, job history and balance.

To understand what is used and what breaks. That runs on our own analytics on our own server, without cookies and without sending anything to third parties.

How long we keep it

Files and results: two hours without an account, twenty-four hours with one, then deleted automatically.

Account data: while the account exists. Ask us and the account goes, and the data with it.

Anonymous job statistics are kept longer in aggregate, with no link to a person and no file names.

Who else sees it

Nobody, except where the service cannot work otherwise: the payment partner receives what a payment requires; the mail provider receives the address and the message when confirming an address or resetting a password.

We do not sell or share data for advertising, and we do not embed third-party tracking scripts.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have your account deleted. Write to the address on the contacts page from the address the account uses.
